50 Cannabis Retail Licenses to Be Awarded in Second Lottery

Fifty new retail hashish licenses will probably be awarded on Tuesday as Ontario strikes ahead with its second lottery.

The lottery might be handing out licenses to promote authorized marijuana to 42 retail shops, together with 13 in Toronto and 6 in the remainder of the GTA, whereas eight extra shall be given to First Nations Reserves by means of a separate, first-come first-serve foundation.

Unlike the primary lottery in January, which noticed 25 retail licenses handed out, this one required candidates to present affirmation that they had secured a lease, together with the capital to run it.

The Alcohol and Gaming Commision of Ontario stated a financial institution letter confirming entry to $250,000 money and one other confirming the power to get a $50,000 standby letter of credit score was wanted to apply.
