Aurora Cannabis shares noticed an uptick following information that it has appointed U.S. billionaire Nelson Peltz as a strategic adviser and given him the choice to purchase a stake within the firm.
The Edmonton-based hashish firm says it has granted Peltz choices to buy almost 20 million widespread shares at $10.34 per share, barely under Tuesday’s closing worth.
The shares have been up roughly 10 per cent in late morning buying and selling, rising to $11.67 — up from Tuesday’s shut of $10.64. The inventory had been as excessive as $12.33 in earlier buying and selling.
