According to Health Canada, there are at present 134 corporations licensed to produce hashish in Canada — 90 of these have been licensed within the final 16 months
Health Canada says authorized hashish shortages which were skilled in some provinces, together with Nova Scotia, will possible proceed into the New Year.
Karen Casey, Nova Scotia’s finance minister and deputy premier stated in an interview Wednesday, the province is just receiving 35 to 40 per cent of the hashish it wants to meet the calls for of shoppers, main to retailer closures in some instances and elevating considerations about continued reliance on the black market.
Other provinces have been dealing with comparable points, Casey stated, and have approached Health Canada with their considerations.
