Richmond Hill, Markham to Opt Out of Retail Cannabis Sales

The mayor of Richmond Hill has stated that his metropolis will choose out of the federal government’s plan to introduce personal retail shops for hashish by April 2019.

Mayor David Barrow stated that whereas some residents disagree together with his stance, metropolis council won’t be in favour of authorized pot outlets within the metropolis.

“We’re not a willing host of recreation retail outlet,” Barrow informed CTV News Toronto on Wednesday. “We had a number of people attend our council meetings and say they weren’t interested in being a part of any of this process.”
