Saskatchewan has chosen the 51 house owners who will function hashish retail shops within the province.
“This represents the next step in the process of having a privately-operated cannabis retail system carefully regulated by SLGA,” Minister Responsible for SLGA Gene Makowsky stated.
“There was a lot of interest in the public Request for Proposal process, resulting in many new businesses that will invest in our province.”
The profitable proponents have been chosen by means of a two-phase Request for Proposal that started in March. The first part concerned a screening qualification targeted on monetary and gross sales/stock monitoring methods. Everyone who certified from part one was entered into part two which was a lottery draw to pick the operators.
