Vancouver Startup High on Technology to Process Cannabis Plant Waste

A Vancouver startup firm is betting it may well present a high-tech answer to assist authorized medical hashish growers cope with plant waste, as their manufacturing expands to accommodate the leisure market.

Micron Waste Technologies Inc. is creating cardio digesters designed to take meals waste and extract clear water from it that may be reused or disposed of in municipal sewer techniques, whereas leaving compostable biosolids behind.

Recently, Micron partnered with medical producer Aurora Cannabis to attempt adapting that know-how to deal with hashish waste in a contained, compact and environmentally delicate method that meets Health Canada restrictions on disposal.
