A medical marijuana advocate in Saskatoon is elevating a stink about one firm’s plan to ban all varieties of smoking in its rental flats beginning this fall.
The coverage, confirmed Thursday, will apply to smoking marijuana and cigarettes, plus vaping, inside greater than 11,000 Mainstreet Equity Corp. flats and hooked up patios in Saskatchewan, Alberta and B.C.
Smokers should take it outdoors to designated areas beginning round Sept. 1, a month earlier than hashish is legalized in Canada, the corporate advised CBC News.
