'We Needed to Act': Cannabis PEI Offers New Recycling Program

‘It’s been a good way for us to do our half’.

Cannabis PEI is introducing a recycling program in response to rising considerations voiced by shoppers over plastic waste being generated by their merchandise.

With the brand new program, Islanders can now drop off all their hashish packaging, together with plastic luggage and canisters, single joint tubes and hashish oil bottles, for recycling.

“We quickly became aware of the growing concerns around the amount of plastic that was being generated in the new emerging cannabis industry,” stated Zack Currie of the PEI Cannabis Management Corporation.
