America’s largest chain of natural grocery shops is contemplating a transfer into the marijuana market. Earlier this week, the Amazon subsidiary steered that it’d add hashish to its in depth line of natural produce someday in the future.
During a current Q&A hosted by The Texas Tribune, Whole Foods Market CEO John Mackey stated he expects his Texas-based shops in addition to others throughout the nation will start to inventory their cabinets with marijuana merchandise if the market appears proper.
“If cannabis is ever passed in Texas, chances are good that grocery stores will be selling that too,” he stated. “You just never know what happens over time with markets. They change and evolve.”
